We use the reference station software GPS-Base from SpectraPrecision (Germany) (see: www.terrasat.de), which generates Doppler data for different receiver types (I'm not sure whether the ASHTECH ZII is also supported or not). For the moment this software is still in a test phase, but = will replace the existing software soon. From then on the official IGS RINEX files of Zimmerwald will contain D1 and D2. The reason for us to generate Doppler data is that some = post-processing software packages (like e.g. Trimble Pathfinder Office) use Doppler = data for the differential correction of data collected with low-cost L1 receivers (GIS applications). For geodetic applications D1 and D2 are not used. Best regards, U.
