****************************************************************************** BSW Electronic Mail 01-Sep-2000 13:10:02 CET Message Number 0119 ****************************************************************************** Author: Stefan Schaer Subject: DRY_NIELL Dear BSW Users: With reference to the BSW Mail 118, let me state more precisely that, if you take into account (new or old) CODE TRP information for IGS/ EUREF core sites and you solve for tropospheric parameters for the remaining sites of your network (using the option NO_TROPO in panel DAT45240.PAN), no a priori model can be considered. Consequently, the use of the DRY_NIELL mapping function is highly recommended in such a case. Needless to say, this is the state-of-the-art approach concerning troposphere modeling for local as well as regional network processing. If there are users, who are interested in applying, e.g., the Saastamoinen a priori model in combination with the COSZ mapping function (having above scenario), please let us know. Best regards, Stefan Schaer [Mailed from: stefan.schaer@aiub.unibe.ch]
