Meanwhile, a lot of model updates, processing improvements, and other developments have been realized in our operationally running version. Today, we are pleased to announce the release of the new Bernese GNSS Software Version 5.4 including new functionality like: Multi-GNSS capability Enhanced satellite orbit modelling Ambiguity resolution for PPP Support of latest IGS/IERS conventions and file formats More detailed information on the new features are summarized here http://www.bernese.unibe.ch/features/features_new.php An online presentation via zoom on the new features is planned for mid of October. The event will be announced via bswmail. We have extensively tested the source code using different compilers on numerous different Linux, Mac, and Windows systems. The full test matrix can be found at: http://www.bernese.unibe.ch/support/cmp_all_list.php In the “Order” section of the Bernese home page you can find the upgrade forms for research and commercial users at http://www.bernese.unibe.ch/order Prices for the upgrade to Version 5.4 are as follows: Research license: - all versions CHF 2'000.- Commercial licenses: - limited workstation CHF 3'500.- (former single workstation) - unlimited workstation CHF 5'000.- (former site license) Note that the upgrade does not include a course participation. The prices are applicable if you purchased your current version before January 1st, 2021. Otherwise the upgrade is free. Please note that the term "upgrade" means actually a complete distribution with all of the source code. Download instructions will be delivered after payment. The user manual is not yet ready for delivery. We are confident, however, that with the extended on-line help available in the distribution, the tutorial from the exercises of the introductory course, the extended ready-to-use example BPEs, and the continuously increasing items in the "FAQ" section of the home page, you should be able to quickly start working with the new version.
